Learn to Tap in 6 Weeks

Welcome to the course! Before we get started:

SHOES – If you don’t have tap shoes, you should wear shoes that are smooth on the bottom, like Shabbos shoes. Of course, it’s best to get tap shoes, so you can hear and perfect your sound. Any tap shoe will do.

FLOOR – Tap shoes can scratch floors!!!!! So, please be careful! You can buy some linoleum or plywood to tap on. If you don’t mind having your taps getting scratched, you can also practice on cement outside.

HEALTH – Tap dance is a form of physical exercise. Check with a doctor to make sure it’s appropriate for you. If you feel pain in any way, you should stop.
